Brief summary: review of revenue collection and remittances by a bank on behalf of FIRS. We were able to establish instances of non-remittance of collected taxes and late remittance of taxes by the bank.
Project: Reconciliation and recovery of debts.
Duration: 2004.
State: Kano, Jigawa, Niger, Kwara and Kaduna (PHCN)
Brief summary: review of revenue collection and ascertain the outstanding debts. We were able to recover part of the unpaid revenue and recommended ways to strengthen recoveries.
Project: Debt reconciliation.
Duration: 2006 – 2007.
State: Niger, Kaduna, Kano, and Zamfara.
Brief summary: we reviewed the clients’ claims and reconciled debt balance to the satisfaction of both parties.
Project: Monthly review of payment from foreign agents.
Duration: 2010 – 2011.
State: Benin.
Brief summary: assisted in the financial oversight assignment being carried out on a Nigeria agent of client. This assignment involve monthly reviews of the financial records of the Nigeria agent of the client in order to ensure that the payments made by the agent were in line with payments allowable under the us laws.
Project: Loan outstanding liabilities. (Reconciliation and recovery)
Duration: 2008 – 2009.
Concerned bank: Oceanic Bank International.
Brief summary: Cox-A Integrated Limited engaged the services of the Firm to take a critical look at the documents relating to term loan facility granted to the Company by the Bank.
